Meatloaf with Carrot Sauce Recipe

Adequate for babies nine months of age on up.
Makes 6 servings.

Ingredients
150 grams of minced meat
150 grams of minced loin
Breadcrumbs of 1 slice of bread
4 tablespoons of milk
1 egg
Parsley
1 onion
2 medium sized carrots
3 tablespoons of natural yogurt
400 cc’s of meat broth
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Salt (optional)
Flour

Preparation

  1. Mix the meats with the egg, the finely chopped parsley and the breadcrumbs with the milk.
  2. Make the meatloaf into a round shape, making sure it is nicely shaped and flour it. If the mixture is a little too soft, add in a little a tablespoon of breadcrumbs so that it sticks together.
  3. Heat up the frying pan and add in the oil and the finely chopped onion and allow it to cook slowly until it starts to brown.
  4. At this point add in the peeled and chopped carrots in thin slices then blend it and add in the tablespoons of yogurt.
  5. Put the sauce in an oven pan and when it starts to boil, add in the meatloaf.
  6. Cook the meatloaf in the preheated oven at 180 degrees C. for around 30 minutes. When it is half cooked, turn it over.
  7. After it is done cooking, divide up the serving portions with their correspondent amount of sauce and store what is not going to be used adequately.
  8. You can fry the meatloaf before cooking it in the sauce, but it will be dryer.
