Pasta requires of more or less time to cook depending on what type of flour it is made out of.

Cooking time will be a lot shorter if the pasta is fresh. It always weighs more in this case.

To calculate the weight of pasta you can weigh it with hard pasta.

It is suggested and better to feed smaller children small sized pasta.

Macaronis and other similar pasta weight a lot and give the impression that the child has not eaten a lot.

Once cooked, make sure to strain the pasta right away, because it will continue to cook. Place it under a running tap so that it cools off.

For children it is advisable to allow the pasta to cook a little bit more because it will help the digestive process to run smoother as it is easier on their stomachs.
