Rice and Vegetables Recipe

Adequate for babies twelve months of age on up. 1 serving

Ingredients
30 grams of rice
One small piece of carrot
2 small pieces of cauliflower
¼ of an onion
1 teaspoon of olive oil
Salt (optional) 

Preparation

  1. Peal and wash the onion and cut into small pieces.
  2. Put the onions and olive oil in a pot and allow them to cook over low heat.
  3. Once the onions soften, (not cooked completely though), add in the vegetables (cleaned and chopped finely) as well as the rice.
  4. Allow this all to cook together for 20 minutes and add three measures of boiling water per each cup of rice.
  5. If you are intending on using fish or chicken to this recipe, this dish will not be able to be stored and will need to be eaten on the same day.
